Since August 2026, in Europe, whoever deploys certain AI systems must keep logs for six months. In Québec, Law 25 applies to every business, no threshold. A log written by the AI itself is a log; a receipt signed by a third party is an exhibit.
The insured
Insurers are starting to cover agent errors and set premiums by the guardrails in place. An AI whose every important action leaves an independent receipt is a more insurable AI.

Confirme is young. It runs today on modest infrastructure, without an availability commitment, and Synapse is a small company from Québec. Our receipts are technically sound and verifiable without us; their weight before a court will depend, as for any third party, on the trust time grants us. We would rather tell you than let you find out. What will not change: we belong to no AI vendor, and verifying a receipt will stay free.
