Who we are
Confirme is a service of Synapse, a company in Québec, Canada. Contact: info@synapseconnexion.com. The laws of Québec and Canada apply; any dispute goes to the courts of the district of Québec.
What the service does
Confirme observes five precise things at the request of a program or a person: does a page answer, does a domain exist, can an email address receive, has a task declared that it ran, and since when. Every answer comes with a receipt signed by Synapse, attesting that we observed this result at this second. The receipt says nothing else.
What we do not promise
Not the whole truth
Confirme cannot tell whether everything your AI claims is true. It checks what it can check, at the moment it is asked. A page can go down the next second. A valid email address can be abandoned.
No guaranteed availability
We are a small team on shared hosting. The service may be slow or unavailable, without notice. We owe no compensation for downtime.
No liability for your decisions
What you do with a Confirme answer is yours. Our total liability, whatever the cause, is limited to the amount you paid us in the last thirty days. During launch, that amount is zero.
What we keep

We sell none of this, to anyone. We do not use your requests to train anything. No advertising trackers on this site. To see or erase what we hold on your address, write to info@synapseconnexion.com.
What you agree not to do
Use Confirme to probe networks that are not yours, work around the quotas, mass-verify email addresses for cold outreach, or present a Confirme receipt as proof of something it does not attest. We may cut off an address or a key that abuses, without notice.
Price
Free during launch, within the displayed limits. Then one cent per check, prepaid by bag of jelly beans, no subscription. Purchased beans do not expire. They are not refundable, except if the service shuts down for good: then the unused balance is refunded. Verifying a receipt stays free forever, for everyone.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes and the changelog notes it. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
